There are three areas to watch in the world today; the western pacific, the Atlantic, and the Indian Ocean. A new tropical cyclone formed about 800 miles east of Taiwan is moving west at about 5 miles per hour. The tropical cyclone is expected to gradually strengthen overtime as conditions are favorable for development. Residents of Taiwan, eastern China, and the northern Philippines will have to watch this very closely. The Atlantic remains relatively quiet today as no new tropical cyclones seems to be developing. However, some of the Global Models Does development of a tropical wave that just emerged off the coast of Africa. In southern Asia, relentless rain continues to rain over India due to the monsoon.
