The tropics continue to remain quiet today, and should remain quiet for the rest of the week. The only area of interest, is the tropical wave around 40 degrees west which has obtained a well defined mid level circulation. Uppper level winds are blowind about 5-10 knots over it, which is very conductive for development. Nevertheless, it is interacting with very dry air, which will stifle development. Hence, overall conditions are maginarily favorable.
